HYD Chat is a moderated online community chatroom for Hyderabad, Sindh, Pakistan. You can join the General conversation, read Hyderabad discussions, react to posts, see member profiles, and earn activity rewards — all on one page, with an installable mobile app version.

Visitors can read the General chat without an account. Signed-in verified members unlock the Riders room, the member list, private messages, GIFs, reactions, reputation, the rewards system, the Leaderboard, the Rewards Shop and the daily drop. Sign in or register from the button in the top bar anytime.

Riders is a second chat room for delivery riders working food and parcel orders around Hyderabad. It appears in the room list only after you sign in and opens with a pinned guide. Riders can share live traffic and road-closure alerts, safe parking spots and rain warnings. Admins can give a member the Delivery Rider community tag so they appear under Delivery Riders in the member list.

Use the Register / Sign in button on the chat page. After signing in you can edit your display name, location, age, bio and avatar from Edit profile, and buy a rename from the Rewards Shop (once per 30 days).

Click the bell button in the chat header and allow notifications. On iPhone, add HYD Chat to your Home Screen first, then enable notifications there. If notifications are blocked, use your browser's site controls to Allow them and reload.

Yes. HYD Chat is an installable web app (PWA). On the install prompt choose Install; on iPhone open Safari, tap Share and choose Add to Home Screen. It supports push notifications and an offline page once installed.

The chat refreshes automatically every few seconds so everyone stays in sync without keeping dozens of connections open. Messages sent by you appear instantly and are confirmed by the server.

Hover a message to react (👍 ❤️ 😂 🎉), reply, pin or report. The message box includes an emoji picker, GIF search and a voice recorder for the General chat. Verified members (blue tick) and administrators can attach images up to 5 MB in General and Riders; all verified members can attach files up to 5 MB in private messages.

10 Cash Points equal PKR 1. The minimum cashout is 10,000 Cash Points, which equals PKR 1,000. Cash and mobile-credit prizes (such as from the daily drop) are recorded for the site owner to pay out.

The main way is chat activity: your first meaningful message in the General chat each Pakistan day earns +20 Cash Points, +10 Activity Score and +15 XP. Posting more than once in the same day does not earn it a second time. Reputation, streak bonuses, the daily drop and owner adjustments are separate.

A streak counts consecutive days you are active. On your 7-day streak the daily reward is +50 extra points, and on your 30-day streak it is +200 extra points.

Leaderboard points = your Cash Points + (net reputation × 50). Reputation affects ranking only — it never changes your Cash Points or cashout value.

Activity Score tracks how regularly you take part. It rises toward a maximum of 100 and drops by 5 points after about 3 inactive days (to a minimum of −100). Your earned Cash Points never decrease from inactivity, but cashout is paused while your Activity Score is negative.

No. Cash Points you have earned stay with you. Only Activity Score can fall due to inactivity.

You earn lifetime XP from daily chat rewards. Milestones unlock badges shown around the community: Silver Member at 500 XP, Gold Contributor at 1,500 XP and Community Hero at 5,000 XP, plus Bronze Active for a 7-day streak and 2.5K Reward Unlocked at 2,500 Cash Points. Your level also grows with your reputation.

Once you hold 2,500 Cash Points you can choose a special reward — a food-voucher discount or a mobile recharge. This is shown on the Leaderboard page.

Only the verified site owner can manually add or remove points. Admins and moderators cannot adjust points. Point changes are recorded with a reason in the points history.

Verified members can give one +reputation vote for each other member. Negative votes are disabled. Every member has one active vote per member — changing your vote replaces the old one, and repeated clicks do not add extra points. Each net unit of reputation adds 50 Leaderboard points and does not affect Cash Points.

Positive reputation progresses through tiers: green from 1–5, blue 6–10, red 11–15 and orange 16 and above. Your numeric score stays visible alongside the coloured bar.

Negative voting is disabled by design to keep the community friendly. You can still report members who break the rules.

Every signed-in member with 50+ posts can claim one random daily drop per Pakistan day by typing “@Neo giveaway” in the General chat. It costs a 20-point entry fee from your Cash Points.

Prizes are rolled randomly: a small shop perk about 73% of the time, 10–50 Cash Points 20%, PKR 1,000 mobile credit 5%, and PKR 2,000 cash 2%. Small perks include name colours, custom titles, avatar frames, profile banners, name glow and rainbow names. If you already own the perk you get +30 Cash Points instead.

Each member gets exactly one drop per Pakistan day. Reply “@Neo giveaway” again after midnight Pakistan time (the next day) to claim your next drop. Your 20-point entry fee is only charged on a successful claim.

The daily drop needs a 20-point balance. Type “@Neo giveaway” after earning more — making a chat post is the fastest way to reach the balance.

Only the verified site owner can run a member giveaway draw with “@Neo pick [number] winners” or similar wording. Winners are chosen from the most active eligible members with 50+ posts — never at random, and never from admins or moderators. A member who has already won a draw cannot be picked again.

Cash and mobile-credit prizes are recorded when you win, and the owner pays them out. They are listed on your claim as pending until paid.

You spend Cash Points on personalisation perks that activate instantly. Open the Shop from the chat's left panel or the Leaderboard, choose a perk, pick your setting (colour, frame, badge, title…) and redeem.

The shop sells: a name colour (100 points, 7 days), a rename (250 points, 30-day cooldown), a highlighted post (150 points, 24 hours), a custom title (200 points, 30 days), an avatar frame (300 points, permanent), a custom badge (450 points, permanent), the exclusive HYD Star badge (500 points, permanent), a profile banner (200 points, 30 days), name glow (150 points, 14 days) and a rainbow name (350 points, 14 days).

Yes — enable the gift option and choose a recipient. Renames, post highlights, name glow and rainbow names can only be redeemed for your own account.

Rename, post highlight, name glow and rainbow name are personal-only. Everything else (name colour, custom title, avatar frame, badges and profile banner) can be gifted.

Highlight a post you wrote and it appears in the Highlighted posts panel above the General chat for 24 hours. You can have one active highlight at a time.

Names can be changed through the shop once every 30 days. The shop shows exactly when your next rename becomes available.

Neo, the automated helper, removes abusive messages and mutes spammers or repeat abusers with increasing timeouts, up to 10 hours. Verified members can also report a member from their profile. Admins manage roles, access, uploads, pinned posts, announcements and moderation.

Neo is an automated Helper — not an admin or moderator. It guides Hyderabad newcomers, answers questions, runs the owner's giveaway draws, and independently removes abusive messages and mutes repeat offenders. It has no general admin powers and cannot change points.

Open a member's profile and use the report action, or use the report button next to their name. Reports are reviewed by the team.

Yes. Sending more than 12 messages in a minute, repeating the same message, or posting abusive content is detected automatically and can reduce or block your access. Keep chats friendly and spread them out.
